1. What are the dangers of fleas?

Direct hazards: 1) Both sexes of fleas can suck blood, the frequency of sucking blood is high, the amount of sucking blood is large, and harassment and stimulation often make people and animals uneasy. When blood is sucked, saliva is injected subcutaneously into the host, which can cause local tissue allergy, local papules, rubella, wind mass after scratching, and pyogenic infection after scratching. (2) Parasitism: Some fleas can cause parasitism and anemia of livestock, etc.

Indirect hazards: Plague is a severe infectious disease caused by Yersinia pestis. It spreads among rats through fleas. As human or domestic rodents enter the foci of the disease, they are infected, and then spread to villages and cities, resulting in the epidemic of plague, which is extremely serious.

2. How to control fleas?

(1) Control methods: The reproduction and survival of fleas need suitable breeding conditions and adequate blood sources, mainly in dark, humid habitats with animals. The basic measures to control fleas are to improve sanitation, improve environment, control breeding conditions, carry out rodent control, strengthen the management and personal protection of domestic animals such as cats and dogs.

(2) Chemical flea killing method: spraying with insecticides, focusing on the ground, under the bed, the foot of the wall, under the cabinet and near the rat hole and the habitat of domestic animals. Closing the door for 1 to 2 hours after application, good results can be obtained.
